About Pastor Tim’s Ministry

Pastor Tim was called into ministry on July 15, 1987 while serving on staff at Camp Joy Baptist Assembly in Brownsville, Kentucky; at that time he was a junior at Bowling Green High School.  Pastor Tim and his family were members of Greenwood Baptist Church where he sat under Steve Ayers, who was the youth pastor of Greenwood Baptist at the time.  Pastor Steve is still one of Pastor Tim’s mentors and Pastor Tim owes many thanks to Pastor Steve for assisting him in ministry over the years.

1989 – 1990	Youth Pastor, Jackson Grove Baptist Church
1990 – 1995	Youth Pastor, Oakland Baptist Church
1995 – 1996	Youth Pastor, Forest Park Baptist Church
1996 – 2002	Youth Pastor and Pastor of Age-Graded Ministries, Hillvue Heights Church
2003 – 2004	Associate Pastor, Woodburn Baptist Church
2004 – Present	Lead Pastor, Oakland Baptist Church

The Lord has allowed Pastor Tim to see many people connect to Christ and has witnessed literally hundreds of baptisms through his ministry.  Pastor Tim credits the Lord for all the blessings in life that he has given him.  Pastor Tim acknowledges that each church that he has served has been a huge blessing in his life but admits to have a very special place in his heart for the people of Oakland Baptist Church.  Pastor Tim has said that Oakland Baptist has done more for him than he has for them.  Pastor Tim desires for the Lord to keep him at Oakland for many years to come.
