Discipleship and Small Groups
Our discipleship classes and small groups provide opportunities to learn more about God’s word and how we are to live our lives. These classes and groups meet anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks, depending upon the topic. Issues we typically study include parenting, marriage, finances, spiritual growth, prayer, and much more. The small group setting allows for greater discussion and getting to know each other better.
The following groups begin Sunday, August 8 at 6:00pm:
- Experiencing God (led by Pastor Tim) – While many people ask God to bless their plans, Experiencing God helps lead believers into a deeper love relationship, teaching them to pray to and hear from God, and join God in accomplishing what He purposes to do.
- Covenant (led by Patty Quigley) – Covenant explores God’s initiatives with humanity by studying His covenants throughout history. Kay shows that the idea of covenant — God’s enduring promise — is key to understanding our relationship to God. Learn about the remarkable ways the old covenant points to the promises of the new covenant.
- What Did Jesus Do? (led by Pastor Mark) — The Bible tells us that all Christians are to become devoted followers — disciples — of Jesus Christ. To mimic Jesus, we will explore what He did during His ministry on earth.
