Another school year has come and gone. Oakland, this is the month where we can really support our children and youth ministries with our prayers and financial support. Vacation Bible School is June 10 – 14. We usually have anywhere from 120 – 150 children invade our church for an unbelievable week of awesomeness. If you see Mrs. Melanie Jones make sure you thank her for being our fearless leader for VBS. We are praying to see some kids give their hearts to the Lord. Not too long after VBS our children and youth will be attending their summer camps. We would love if you could financially sponsor a student to attend camp. The cost of a scholarship is $150. We thank you in advance for your support. The students highlight of the year is June and July. Let’s help make it their best summer yet at Oakland Baptist Church. Thanks Oakland for being the church that you are. Our students may not do a great job of communicating to us, but I can assure you of their appreciation of support that you give their ministry all throughout the year.
